Iggy Pop picks up the thread again
Iggy Pop returns with his band The Stooges. At the beginning of the year died guitarist Ron Asheton. Singer Iggy Pop announced that the band still feels the spirit “and that in 2010 concert tour is planned.
“The band has no more to me than practiced, because many other things I’ve done this year. But we have recently played all together again,” says Iggy Pop at the British BBC. “We will soon do a single show in Brazil. But the real tour begins next year only.”
The deceased Asheton is replaced by the original guitarist James Williamson. He returns again after thirty years. The 62-year-old pop believe that their deceased colleagues still present. “His energy is still present in the band. He is still with us, without physically,” said the singer
